Re: What do we need more of?

It feels like it must be nearly 100 years ago since somebody made any decent level crossing gates for Trainz (and I do mean gates, not barriers.) A new set would be nice, maybe even a sort of kit where you can just keep adding a bit on to make an arrangement say from one to about 6 or 8 tracks. Wha...

Re: Class 158 Info

I realise that I'm a little late to the party here as I seldom frequent this forum anymore but if you want any information or photographs of the TfW 158s then let me know so I can grab some photos next time I'm in work. I can't help much with the driving characteristics but I understand that the usu...

Re: Central Scotland - Edinburgh - Glasgow - Dunblane

I've had to use a combination of Lidar and OS on the L&B as there wasn't full Lidar Coverage, there was a about a 2 or 3m height difference where the Lidar tiles joined the OS tiles which was easy enough to smooth out. The data having been captured to detect flood risk, coverage is indeed spars...

Re: Default speed limits in sidings

There are a few "set speed limit" driver commands on the DLS. They would have to be applied to all affected locomotives individually. Would they work?

Re: Restrictive Screenshot Competitions

IE have a competition going by Railway Region, IE LMR/LMS. A regional competition is too restrictive. Keeping the subject vague should produce plenty of entries while keeping the competition fresh. E.g. Level crossings, stations, freight, water and depots are all things that will appear in most rou...

Re: new pacer replacments

I'm amazed those things are allowed to even run on the railways still. I shudder to think how they'd stand up to a head-on collision. It's baffling how old Mk1 coaches are not allowed to be used on the railways now without a sturdier barrier coach or loco - yet these tins on wheels seem to be invin...

Banking operations

I know some people on here avoid the Auran forum but this thread is well worth a look. Some time ago there was a thread on here about banking operations and Elstoko has now developed a set of commands that enable you to put them into practice.

Re: London to Penzance Route Assets

Look down the list where items end in ":127". Remove the ":127" and the "2" from "kuid2" on those items and you should clear some of them off.
