Three Class 25's to return to Main Line Duties?

Hi All,

Surprised no one else has picked this up in the November issue of Railway Magazine (page 97).
Apparently 25 057/283/313 have been purchased by Harry Needle RC for use on infrastructure trains.

Can anyone confirm this? Can't recall when a 25 last worked on the main line.

Re: new pacer replacments

Why do I get the feeling these still won't be scrapped! I have visions of them running the Bedford to Bletchley route freeing up a couple of 150's. Hi Briggsy, You forgot the local connection here, Coventry to Nuneaton and Coventry to Leamington once Kenilworth station is eventually finished!!! :lo...

Re: China clay buildings ?

Hi Jack,
Take a look at the TPR website. There are 21 assets for a china clay works by Angelah.
Search under: UK content then buildings uk, there about four or five pages in that folder before you get to the china clay stuff. Primarily designed for 2006 but says works in 2010 etc.

Re: Wagons without interior

Hi,

It looks to be an old version, probably 2004 or earlier.

A lot of the older content pre 2004 didn't have interiors, windows were sort of painted into the models.

Does the config file give an interior kuid number, if not this may explain the issue.

Re: Signalling a Swing Bridge

There was an article in the Railway Magazine back end of 2015 about the railways of Norfolk. ( Norwich - Yarmouth - Lowestoft). Within the article mention was made of (if memory serves me correct of location) Somerleyton swing bridge. The signalman was stated as saying the signals on the far side of...

Re: Another ex driver question

Hi Innis, Only just spotted this post. The progression route I remember from the 70's was: Railman - Leading Railman - Senior Railman or Senior Railman(Shunter) - Guard. Some chaps I knew jumped from railman or leading railmen straight to guard, depending on the seniority date of the applicants. The...

Re: Hi from Snowy, Ex Loadhaul

Hi Snowy,

Wanted to be a driver but failed the eye colour sight test. Worked at Coventry, Leamington and Birmingham New St (train crew rostering) and finished my days at Stanier House, Birmingham. Victim of Thatchers privatisation scheme.

Just hit the big 60. :(

Re: Transfering content from simulator to another

I'm trying to but the disc content won't load. I tried going onto run but still only loads up language and thereon, nothing else. I've tried blowing/cleaning the disc drive etc. Not really sure what to suggest here. Is the WSR disc damaged in anyway? As it only part loads sounds like a fault/corrup...
