Many thanks for the reply, and sorry it has taken so long for me to respond! I will have a go when I get a chance.
Thanks, Tim.

Changing passengers to different asset set
Hello, After upgrading my PC and updating to TRS22, I am gradually getting back into building my Isle of Wight map. One thing I am struggling to work out is how to alter the people that appear on the AJS platforms, as they currently don't really fit with the 1930s setting of the layout. Is this even...

Moving Sessions to an updated route
Hello all, I am working (slowly) on my Isle of Wight Route towards Freshwater. Due to how I am saving each section separately (as a backup) I was wondering if there is a way to save a session from a previous version of the route onto the newest version. What I mean by that, is that I created session...

Re: tips for assets
As a relatively recent starter myself, I found it most helpful to download a variety of routes in the country/ era you wish to model then spend some time exploring the assets and techniques they used, and using the ones you liked in your own routes.
Hope that helps,
Tim.

Re: 19/07 - July 2019 Screenshots
Some screenshots from my hopefully soon to be released route depicting the Isle of Wight line from Ryde to Ventnor in the 1930s (and yes I know this predates BR black, but if anyone knows where I can find an O2 in SR livery I would be most interested!). The route is also far from perfect and relies ...

Re: Moving Trainz 12 to a new PC
Thanks for the reply. Yes I have tried both short and long database repairs but to no avail. I have also tried deleting the whole lot and trying again.

Moving Trainz 12 to a new PC
Hi, I recently got a new PC and installed Trainz 12 from the disk again. I then copied the files across from the previous PC. The game appears to run fine but then crashes after a few minutes of playing. Has anyone else experienced this or is there something I have missed? It is running build 61388 ...

Re: Uploading a route to the DLS
Thanks all very much for your help.
The route is in TS12 (build 61388). I'll give uploading a go once I've finished tinkering around with the final bits and bobs. If the route makes it onto the DLS i will post on the 'Routes' section of this forum along with some screenshots.
Thanks again, Tim

Uploading a route to the DLS
Hi all, apologies if something like this has already been posted on the forum but the search function didn't throw up anything obvious..... I was wondering if anyone knows where I could find a good description of how to upload a route to the DLS. I have got a route nearly ready (just some final deta...

Re: Points flicking to and fro
Thanks for the responses. Yes, I have tried using that command but to no avail. I have found that if the point is already set to the correct position by myself then the train is able to move off faster because the signal remains clear the whole time, however the yellow padlock above the point is fla...

Points flicking to and fro
Hi all, I am trying to run a 2ft gauge route I have created myself, which is single track with passing places. At one of these passing places, AI trains arrive into the loop fine, but as they try to move off the point at the end of the loop initially changes as it should do, but then as the train ap...

Re: 15/11 - November 2015 Screenshots
Good shots all, This is a little project of mine, to give the 2ft stock available (particularly the freelance stock by edh6) a bit of a workout. All of the following screenshots were taken in a return trip over the line. https://farm1.staticflickr.com/606/22772097303_edc1735d4f_b.jpg couttsse6_20151...

Wheelslip parameters
Hello, I am currently building a short route which some reasonable gradients, and want a bit of a challenge. I would like to alter the wheelslip parameters in the 'vehicle physics' rule to reflect a wet day, and was wondering if anyone knew what would be a realistic level to alter it by. Also, if an...
