Sounds like a good idea but not sure what the cost would be like for the necessary certificate etc - Mark might know though.

Re: trainz wont open properly
If that's TS12 or earlier check your settings in Options on the Display tab. You want to check resolution and the full screen tickbox.

Re: TS12 Path Rule failure & coupling issue
That is possible - TS12 does run into problems when larger routes are involved particularly with intensive AI operations.

Re: TS12 Path Rule failure & coupling issue
That may be part of the issue as it's permit related (it might be that several permits are being granted in a short timeframe).

Re: TS12 Path Rule failure & coupling issue
Not sure about the coupling, but the first issue is what's known as an overflow and means that something has overflowed the scripting system. I've seen this happen with DriverCommand and DriverModule but in a different scenario.

Re: S&C from steam
I think N3V were also allowing access to the TS12 version of SnC for those who purchased the T:ANE version but you may need to check with them before purchasing.

Re: S&C from steam
The snc.ja method isn't likely to work as this was obsoleted in TS12 Service Pack 1 which both the Steam and the Trainz Store versions will be (not sure about other versions).
It's normally better to buy DLC from the same source that your version of Trainz is from to avoid potential issues.

If you're using Windows Vista or later have you tried running as administrator if you're not already?

From memory SP1 requires trainzoptions to be in the UserData folder - check that it's in there.

Re: Trainz 12 keeps crashing
C++ errors are hard to pin down I'd say given experience. It depends on what you were doing at the time as to what may be the cause as TS12 is limited on how much memory it can use for example.

Re: Trainz 12 keeps crashing
If you only patch as far as 49922 there's less chance of a large amount of faulty content (although some of it may have updated versions on the Download Station. Unfortunately not patching at all may mean that any fixes in newer builds won't be available to you so it's like a double edged sword. It ...

Re: Trainz 12 keeps crashing
If you're running a build lower than 49922 I'd recommend patching (updating) - the crashes may be connected to a bug fixed in a later build.

The 71619 assets are from Trunda's collection of trees - it should be on https://archiv.trainzdepot.net/infusion ... stype=desc (note - site is not in English but the download link and the KUIDs should be clear enough).

Re: FUBAR
Something that may help here is what's known as an extended database repair. If the problem isn't at the download server end then that should sort it out.
