Re: clam1952, Malcolm Jenkin, RIP
My sincerest apologies for being late to this post but I have only today learned of Malcom's passing (via the Newsletter.) To say I am shocked is an understatement. I thought Malc would be with us forever, he just seemed like that sort of person (and I mean that in the most positive sense.) Malc was...

Re: Permanent Speed Restrictions
I think the "boil in the bag" title was mostly aimed at many of the 'useless' or lazy guards that were the first to be streamed into the driving grade when the D/A grade was abolished. Certain managers used the opportunity to offload many of their not so useful assets. Some failed the driv...

Re: Permanent Speed Restrictions
Not sure what era you're modelling but during my time on the railways it was always a given that if a crossover was unmarked then it was 15mph max. The old white speed cutouts in the steam days were pretty hard to spot but, thankfully, they were long gone (replaced by the yellow cut outs) by the tim...

Wishing You a Merry Christmas 2022
Merry Christmas to each and every one of you and your loved ones. I hope the New Year brings you at least some of the things you're hoping for and let's hope it's a better year than the last few.
Best wishes

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Hi Ricky, It's that long since I visited here I almost forgot how to reply  . Anyway, there's a list of missing stuff and where it can be found somewhere on here. I'm afraid there were a few mix ups too due to my failing health and multiple types of medication at that time. (My problems are mo...

That sounds Dave ist to me. What d'ya reckon Dave?Briggsy wrote: From that 1343, we have to deduct everyone that doesn't have a unique real name. I've discovered that we have 1337 members called 'Dave'.
That takes us down to just 6 bona fide members.

Looking great as usual Innis. Your powers of perseverance are admirable, I must say. Urban areas can drain even the most determined among us. As for TS19, I haven't had much to do with it, or any Trainz stuff lately as you know, but even less with TS19 ever since its release. I'm a bit confused abou...

Re: Class 101 (And others) Project Thread.
Fantastic work JB. Do you know, I was trained on virtually every type of DMU built (including Rolls Royce parcels - but not Trans-Pennine) and I still haven't got the knowledge regarding most of these details like you have. I must have walked round these Units a million times in the early morning ho...

Re: GBRF 69004 RTC livery
I used to love the old Class 56's but the Air Conditioning only had 2 settings: Toast and Refrigerate (and Toast was summer workings with Refrigerate in the winter. )

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Thanks for the new upload. I've been making a template session with station trackmarks, a few additional portals, and making a schedule library. I can't connect the portals without changing the route, but I can upload the session if it is of any use to anyone? Alternatively if Dave didn't mind, he ...
