Re: Class 101 (And others) Project Thread.

Stunning work with Substance Painter!

I have struggled to get my head round it so far- so hat's off!

Technology has moved on a lot and I believe to grow the user base of Trainz, a fresh start will be required with everything including rolling stock and scenery produced using the newer techniques and technologies. There's more involved in producing this content, so it less likely to be achieved at a...

Re: 20/03 - March 2020 Screenshots

24 hours later and the station/Porthminster area is done A general overview of the town. I have created the entire bay going all the way around to Godrevy as TS2019 has amazing viewing distances. I may include an invisible track in the sea from Hayle to St Ives so a 'boat' can be driven between the...

Re: Regional Version of TS2019

But I'm not 100% on that. There are already a selection of tracks and textures on the DLS that utilise the new graph...

Very impressed with TRS19. We just need lots of shiny new content to make the most of its capabilities!

Re: TRS19

Wouldn't mind paying a subscription if it was paying for decent developers to work on new content that was included FOC and constantly expanding as well as regular updates to the base game. Wouldn't want to pay subscription for a game with very little new content being developed, and that that is be...

Re: Thinking of getting into content creating...

If starting from scratch Blender might be the best way to go as it is completely free. Paul Hobbs had some great tutorials that take you through creating a loco from the ground up.

Re: Advice on new PC

Since looking at the system I first posted about at the top of this thread, I have been searching around a bit to find the best deal for decent specs. I've now been introduced to a DELL gaming laptop. Here are the specs : Intel® Core™ i5-7300HQ processor RAM: 8 GB / Storage: 256 GB SSD Graphics: NV...

Definitely go for an SSD as well, makes such a huge difference to the speed of any PC it's a total no-brainer.
