Re: Wish List

Intel HD4000 on a desktop is the bare minimum for TRS19 and in a laptop may not realistically even achieve that, it's 2012 Intel integrated graphics which are abysmal for GPU intensive games. dots? may be due to due to antialiasing being low or off. If using ATI? that seriously dates the card old A...

Re: Wish List

If so, I've tried 100% track condition and it appears to have no discernible effect on this. I think I've raised it with N3V during beta many moons ago and nothing has been altered. Have you tried any of the transparency effects in TANE and TS2019 on non nVidia hardware? ATI cards end up as a serie...

Re: Wish List

I am a programmer, so it annoys me even more. Looping through a bunch of entities and changing a property on them to a particular value is pretty much what computers are built to do. You aren't the only one! Programming is a very difficult subject to learn, especially C like languages - for a start...

Re: Fowler 0-4-0 DM Shunter

Good to see you back WEN, I'll have a go at Reskinning, I've got a few ideas. Its balancing life at SWR and my personal life. SWR takes a huge chunk out these days, only because I do more and more work such as with the van these days (Yes, we have quite a few vans and they all have South West Train...

Fowler 0-4-0 DM Shunter

Any interest? https://i.ibb.co/KqMhjb2/fowler040ts19.jpg https://i.ibb.co/b7pr9Nv/fowler040tane.jpg Been working on it in between going to and from work from an old model as I wanted to update it a bit. Its designed for Trainz 2010 as I mostly (still after all these years) develop for as my main lap...

Re: Obtaining permittion

The biggest change with them it the headlights and missing gangway (on the southern units). other than that exterior wise, not much has changed AHH, I'm more used to the SWR units. The amount of times that I've cleaned them, travelled on them (2F18 tends to be a favourite as I stumble to Woking to ...

Re: Obtaining permittion

I recently have done some reskins/modifications of WEN's Class 455s. including replacing the Bogies with the 5WES ones, using the 508/Mk2 DBSO Cab and a new paint job. However, I do don't want to post any screens without permission from WEN. That's not a problem, I know everyone is dupr cautious, b...

Re: What ever happened to ...

I know WEN got a job and a girlfriend. Time I actually said something as I've been absent. Yes, I'm around, no I'm not around as much as I used to be if at all . These days, I've taken on a different challenge, err.. putting my ginger mop under a bonnet of a car (got too many now - which my family ...

That's what happens when one employer puts too many demands on you, particularly when you just started in new employment.

Re: They don't give a **** about us ......................

... I see this argument really getting nowhere. Even better, I live and work in Chichester, guess what? Yes, you got it, it has level crossings too, lots of them, in the space of about 3 to 4 miles, you have: Broadbridge AHB, Blackboy Lane AHB, New Fishbourne AHB, Clay Lane AHB, Fishbourne Road (I t...

Re: Why do so many people still use Trainz 2006?

A thought that's just occurred is the amount of people still using trainz 2006, simply why? I'm going to get flamed for writing this but I much prefer using TS10, the Auran JET graphics engine has been slightly improved, everything looks crisper and better and I like the speed treez. It just irrita...

Re: New place to download WEN's Content

While thinking of something, I noticed that 4shared had more options than I am used to, is it worth allowing others to upload reskins of my content in their own relevant folders? The thing that worries me is the possibility of malware, but I think there are controls in place to stop that. As for the...

Re: New place to download WEN's Content

Thanks to Karl, some of my newer stuff has survived on the web, however, I've also had an idea, try opening an online drive, so I did then found I already had an account! Karl sent me a message saying his traffic had increase substantially, ok ok, I didn't expect my c*** to be that popular, but to s...

Re: What is/was the regular Traction where you live?

Could possible mean class 220 and 221 ? 220's where nicknamed "shops" as that's what Virgin called the on board buffet section . Thats right, shame the OP has only just woke up and thought about it. 220: Shop 221: Supermarkets (Super Voyager, tilting ability... oh no!) ... or maybe they s...
