Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
Sadly, due to continually failing health, I find myself in a position of not being able to complete this route before T:ANE becomes completely obsolete (and probably TRS19 too at the rate things have progressed.) I now face another series of hospital treatments and so time sitting in front of my PC ...

...Your badge will be sent in the post first thing on Wednesday :D Well it still hasn't arrived :( Thanks for the kind words. I'm glad to say that all my poxes and stinking pustules appear to be responding to the millions of antibiotics (bloody feels like millions anyway) that I've been forcing dow...

Re: Captain Scarlett
Ha ha ha! Thanks Gam. Your kind words are valued ...and no, I didn't know that Captain Scarlet's real name was Paul Metcalf? Not sure that I understand that properly though. Captain Scarlett was a puppet when I was much younger. Having said that I'm somewhat rat-arsed at the moment - it's my birthda...

Captain Scarlett
Hello once again to all. I'm so sorry that I've been absent for so long. Health has been poor to say the least but as I brag to my loved ones, "Captain Scarlett - Indestructable," ha ha! Now if that doesn't give my age away nothing will LOL! I must admit, though, that I cried when I read D...

Re: A new career
You fellers would be amazed by how many train drivers (during my railway days anyway) were "bus spotters" and/or who actually held PSV licences. Some even worked part time for local Coach Companies or volunteered to drive for Bus Preservation Groups. We had a few bus trips on preserved bus...

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone
If you look on lutrainz.com they have been uploaded without needing to use TPR. All assets previously on TPR survive. It's nice to see that these valuable assets are still available. However, David has refused to licence most of his scenery items on this site for use in T:ANE and so they are next t...

Re: TRS19 SP2 route compatibility
I've not messed about with TRS2019 very much James because I just can't take to it. There are so many things from previous versions that aren't compatable or won't work with it at all that I've just thrown my copy up a corner and left it there (best place for it, I think.) Besides, the tunnel issues...

Re: Interesting Potential Commission
Don't worry, Ron, I worked under the wires for 30 years plus and I'm STILL no expert. As long as they were there and live I was happy. I never looked at detail (as the New St Fitters will tell you when I tried to take a Class 86 into Curzon Street Parcels Shed. Let's just say there was a loud bang a...

Re: Class 158 Info
...One thing I could never figure out was how the cab door worked. I finally came to the conclusion that it is offset to the right from the middle of the cab and it can possibly open fully both ways. I really , really, really hope that's right. ;) Then there's that weird shaped door at the front of...

just gas anyone over 70 that would make lots of money available then take all the money and put it in governments pot job done pacerguy, I'm pretty certain that you would be one of the first to complain should there be any gender related "untoward remarks" made on this forum. As Malc says...
