Re: Youtube videos

Another little something from me, this is basically a repeat of my first ever video, but using Wendsey as it exists now. It really shows how much the route has changed over the 9(!) years I've been working on it, some of the areas are completely unrecognisable between the two!

Re: Is this a handsome loco or what?

It looks to me just like the locomotive version of the continental FLIRT cabs

Re: Creating Stratford Station in London

You can usually get very good results by building things up using platform kits and the like, and trying to recreate it manually vs having to commission a model specially, though for something like Stratford where the buildings are pretty unique it might be a bit of a challenge.

Re: Is this a handsome loco or what?

Well considering its competition as a modern era loco is the 68/88 or the 70, it's definitely at the top of the list so far!

Re: Class 377 (and more to come)

Wow, looks excellent so far! As a modrn era guy I'll definitely be keeping an eye on these with interest! Also, don't forget about plenty of internal passenger views! Just a tip, I find the best way to do this is actually to create an invisible cab view (make sure to add the "outside-visible-fr...

Re: Sound fade-out

Tbh sound processing in general isn't really one of Trainz's strong suits. Even in more modern versions, engine sounds will cut out and jump back in randomly, especially if there are environmental sounds playing nearby, but also just with multiple sounds going at the same time (it's especially notic...

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone

Huh, that's odd, it usually behaves itself in TANE. It's usually TRS19 that randomly decides I've made route level changes just by daring to look upon the landscape!

Re: Aylesbury to London Marylebone

Are you using TRS19? If so that's a thing that happens in it actually, and it does the same even if you don't make any changes. Just opening the route and then exiting it asks me if I want to save changes to the route, so there might be some conversion going on... One of the many reasons I'm still d...
