Beautifully turned out, Dave, although they were horrible bloody things to drive. Like the 153's, the damn things didn't want to stop once you got 'em going. Nightmare, they were. I was glad to see the back of them - but then we had to suffer the 153's as our punishment for complaining about them.

153's were/are probably the most awful Unit in railway history (driving-wise) and are, most likely, the brain fart of someone who has had no experience whatsoever of being at the front end of a train of any description. I'm just amazed that they haven't been involved in any major mainline collisions during their time in service (although I know of 2 serious incidents in my time that were covered up on the Stourbridge Town shuttle service - one where the 153 ended up in the bus station outside.)

Anyway, nice work Dave. Another Unit for the collection (cos, as you know, I don't do "TOCs.") A big "thank you" to Mark too for the additional work involved.

Cheers

Dave

P.S. Thought I'd better throw a quick shot in too (even though it's an old one.)

I'm fairly certain there is a staithe asset available. I'm sure one of the US creators made it but I can't remember what it's actually called.

ray_whiley has a few options available (Dukes Denver Designs.) Search for either ray_whiley or, better still, Coal staithes and you'll find a few options to be going on with. (Try: kuid2:275817:60590:3)

I have those installed I'm pretty sure but they are for unloading coal onto the ground these are for loading into a barge underneath or next to I think what I've built is pretty good for the job :)
