Some more of my Isle of Grain based route St Marys Hoo/Stoke
Whilst holidaying at Allhallows I rode my bike to Stoke Station in time to see one of Kent Refinery's Sentinel shunters trundling towards the lightermans wharf with some oil barrels, around midday where they'll be loaded onto a lightermans barge to be transported further up the Thames to London.
A little later in the day after I'd stopped off at the village pub half a mile away, I returned to Stoke Station, this view is looking north where you can see the remnants of the goods yard, and the remains of the truncated line North to Allhallows.
Looking east towards Kent Refinery (After doing a bit of research I'd decided to replace the power station as that wouldn't be opened until 1979), Despite this being 1975, the BR corporate image hasn't quite reached Stoke yet, with the original SR sign and concrete lamp still in place.
The burbling of 33002 breaks the silence as it rumbles into Stoke with some empties, which will be dropped off, then taken by the refinery shunter to be filled with petcoke later.
Once again looking north to Allhallows, due to the short distance between the entrance points and the 'sleeper stop', the train needs to be split before it's shunted into the sidings.
Another view of 33002 shunting.

Some great shots here. Pacerguy's are much much better than usual too
Really hi-res shot that Klambert. Look's like the kind of resolution that Nexusdj and Andytee usually upload.
I really really need to start freeing up some time for Trainz so that I can join in again. I haven't put a screenshot up for about 2 years :-O

Hmmmmm, looks sort of familiar
It's a sight that always said to me Innis, "Well, that's half the job done."
I'm actually surprised at how well the blue brick and the red brick sit so close together in that picture. I'll bear that in mind for future reference. Great picture though Innis.
Cheers
Dave

Re: 18/07 - July 2018 Screenshots
The following screenshots aren't meant to look fancy, more as a quick sneak peak, to a project that's drawing closer to completion. The screenshot above is meant to demonstrate the tunnel kit I'm working on, intended to be a replacement of AJS' kit, excellent as it is, it is now rather aged. Yes I'm aware the A stock is lacking a 4th rail! Anyway I was rather frustrated with the majority of tunnels within trainz looking too bright and clean, so I've intended my kit too look as dark as possible but without being pitch black so the bricks and ballast still retain some definition,
The screenshot above shows the portal asset with wingwalls and columns, they've been textured to look like Staffordshire Bluebrick, to blend with Nexusdjs and MasonTaylors Greybrick retaining walls.

As always, Karl, an excellent job. I'm looking forward to using them just as soon as I get my mojo back - hopefully sooner rather than later.
Cheers

My contributions to the cause.
I have been working on my regional railway based on the GEML route with about 55miles of mainline complete and a reworked Richwell central and airport stations. I have 28 passenger services running concurrently on 16 different routes around the network.
