Hello all,
Does anyone know of a single ticket barrier asset? I have seen one which has a load of barriers, I only need the one.

Thanks.

Similarly, is there such a thing as an old fashioned ticket booth? The period I'm working in predates the automated version.

Sorry to hijack your thread Mark.

Cheers,
Innis

The only asset that I know of for sure that is singular in nature is by tmz06003. "Building station ticket inspector's booth brown" kuid2:283805:4012411:1. I don't know if that's the kind of thing you're looking for but we appear to be very light in that department, Trainz wise. I've used it many times myself though to cover a multitude of situations.

Cheers

Dave

Yes, I think I use that one as an info point. To be honest, I can probably get away with a fence and station staff standing beside it.

Do you happen to have a general picture of what you want?

I'll give it a go of making if it helps?

You can't go far wrong with Itareus' barrier assets if you want something very British from the old BR era. I'm currently totally rebuilding and realigning Marylebone station at this time and Itareus' stuff is always no.1 on my list in these instances. (Try to ignore the wrong size gate on the right if you can  )

I know WEN did a several versions (IIRC a set of 2, a single disabled gate, and a spline version), the spline might be useful. I'll have to check if I still have them downloaded, as they were on his old webserver

Not sure what Mark's after, perhaps a single version of the automated London Liverpool Street one like the ones pictured in the following article (which is in Devon). https://www.devonlive.com/news/devon-news/ticket-barriers-to-stop-fare-283876

Thanks Dave, I'll try those out but before the automated barriers went in at Waverley, it escapes me what was there before. I seem to recall staff just stood at the platform ends though there would certainly have been gates at some stage.

Are you referring to the old plastic red booths that ticket inspectors would stand in on the entrance and exits of platforms or station entrances in the late 80s / early 90's?

If it's me you're asking Briggsy, then yes. Not sure about Mark's enquiry.

Thanks, that would be great.

Yes it was, sorry. I don't think there are any for Trainz. I've looked in the past and not had any luck :(
