Hi all,
Something I'm trying to work out is how the gradients in Trainz are measued. We all know that, in real life in the UK, as an example we would say 1 in 100, but how would such a gradient be shown in Trainz? 0.10? 1.00? Thanks in advance.

Re: Gradients
Yes, 1 in 100 is 1.00, 1 in 50 would be 2.00.
Treat it as 1/100, and then move the decimal point two places to the right.

Anthony

Re: Gradients
Trainz uses percentages. So 1 in 100 is 1%, 1 in 80 is 1.25%, 1 in 200 is 0.5% etc. Go to this site for an easy calculator -http://www.trainman.id.au/grade.htm
