TANE shakey trains

Post by trainzfan123 »

Just wondering if its possible on TANE to stop the trains from rickiting from side to side.

It makes me sick!

Can this be fixed?

I've tried setting all my track to 100% track condition and it doesn't seem to make a bloody bit of difference. It's so bad, I can't use T:ANE to drive.

Such a shame!

I was so exited about it and it turns out to be crap!

I paid nearly £25 for it!

Not got moneys worth.

SP1 is currently undergoing test. Hopefully that will be fixed then.

I have run the ECML session with the Deltic hauling the scotsman & just now finished running
the 47 hauled freightliner session, in neither of those did I experience any rocking from
side to side, in fact, it was a smoother ride than the real thing, so I'm baffled :? , have I got a
version of Tane that is short of a few features ?

Not sure how you're lucky enough to avoid this issue, saying that, I haven't used the ECML route at all but believe me, you're not missing anything by not having this feature working. I think RW have cab sway pretty much nailed but the T:ANE version can be akin to being on a small boat in the North Sea.

I only have the Std edition build 78667, so did the rattle & roll come in a later patch maybe ?

I'm on the same build as you but it's always been there for me.

Not seeing any problem here either!
For those trying to change the setting try deleting the library cache files after saving and before restarting.

Before I delete something critical, where do I find that cache?

In the userdata folder, which is where ever you put your userdata /cache/libraries
