Hi,
I am planning on using the DB Classes 423 & 433 on British routes, just to see how it looks and feels on those routes. I am wondering what types of routes they go on (i.e. Shuttle, Local, Suburban, Metro, Intercity) and what the British equivalent(s) are (i.e. Class 700, Class 185)
Apologies - I got my DBAG classes mixed up. I meant class 423 and 433, not 422 and 423.

Re: DB Class 422 & 423
You know of a BR 422 for Trainz???
As for the Baureihe 423, it is used for suburban rapid transit operations and is used for the same purposes as class 700s, class 508s or345s.

Oh, the "433" is only the middle wagons for the 423.
If you are looking for similar models, look for br 424, 425, 426 and 440 on the dls. they're similar classes, only they havemore details in trainz.

Hi,
Yes, I know. Your previous post was incredibly helpful. Thank you. Just to check - the 423s go on routes similar to the London suburban routes, Thameslink, Merseyrail, Valley Lines, Glasgow suburbans, etc?

Re: DB Class 422 & 423
Exactly.
They serve German "S-Bahn"-systems, which are suburban systems that sometimes operate completely separately from the mainline like merseyrail or at least have their own tracks.
