Now if I go on to my Waterloo to Paris route... and lay tracks on it.... wont add switches for the points... but when I create a new route it seems fine
I've checked the aautomatic junction placement and shows that it should automatically create points...

Re: trainz no longer automatically creating point switches
Check that there is still a region associated with the route , its the region that contains the kuid entry for the point lever / motor .
I seem to remember some of the older versions of Trainz blanking the kuid entry for the region when a route is saved .

High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

Re: trainz no longer automatically creating point switches
Bit of a bump, but some of the default regions don't seem to associate a junction lever with them. I've noticed this using Transdem, for example if I pick Hungary as the basis for a European route the junctions form with no levers. If I use Germany all is okay.
