How to change fonts

Post by Aunty Acid »

Hi,

I'm wondering how to change the font style and size at stations?
Thanks,

Carol Stott.

Yes, freedom is good, but arguably, grammar is better.

If you are referring to an item that is re-nameable in surveyor then the font size and type is adjustable via entries in the config file .

Have a read through this page on the Trainz wiki : http://online.ts2009.com/mediaWiki/index.php/Kind_name

Font styles available to use in Trainz (From TC 1&2 and later) :
arial
console
comic_sans
courier
cordia
century_gothic
garamond
helvetica
impact
sans_serif
swiss
tahoma
times_new_roman
verdana
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

Thank you very much for this. Is there any way I can change the font for multiple assets at one, if not for the game as a whole? This is because of there being a few fonts that actually really help with my dyslexia.
Thanks,

Carol Stott.

If you use notepad++ to edit the config files, you can open multiple files for edit, open up all the config.txt files in Notepad++, then highlight the line with "font arial" or whichever font is default, hit Ctrl+H, type in the replacement font and click "Replace in all opened documents"
