Re: dem help
My advixe would be: don't attempt to understand the process, ignore the tutorials (which focus heavily on the technical aspects of the process), but work through examples given in the appendix and learn how to press the buttons in the right order parrot fashion.
There's a lot of functionality in Transdem, but I can acheive what I want - a DEM with google earth tiles underneath with a simple but repetitive process of not much more than 4 or 5 key presses per tile. Having got the basics by the above method, I find now that bit my bit I understand more, and have the confidence to mess around a bit with other features.
If you have a specific query, I'll try to help, but I'm by no means an expert. I do know Roland though, and he's a very helpful chap, so if all else fails, send him an email.
Regards,
Anthony

If you open Transdem, go to the Trainz menu at the top and then click on 'Help on Trainz Exporter'

Re: dem help
In a very short answer "NO".Hope epic97 wrote:Does anyone know were i can get transdem without paying money for the one i have found.
If you go down that route (no pun intended) then I would think that you will not last long on this forum. I'm not trying to be nasty, but please don't do that sort of thing on here!
Maybe you should ask for the transdem program for a present on your Birthday, or maybe do odd jobs for cash or a paper-round as I guess you're still at school. That's what I did when I wanted stuff as a teen.
It's a very difficult program to understand as I'm still learning how to use it myself. so if you get the program be prepared for a long learning curve.

Ian (Hiskey)
I would suggest you remove your email address from you last post (or disguise it so that it can't be "machine read"). You are leaving yourself open to "Bots" which scan the internet for email addresses and then send junk email to them - or worse.
