Help wanted please

Post by gamerouche »

Hi, My EWS Class 66 by rumour3 is not showing up running numbers in TC3. It was working ok previously & it works fine in TRS2010.
CMP gives me the following errors from andi06's AJS Superscript Code Library <Kuid2:122285:508:15

Error: Could not load texture 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TC/local/content t3hfgj8p5\int=semitransparent'.
Error: The primary and alpha texture are not the same size for 'C:\Program Files\Auran\TC/local/content t3hfgj8p5\icon-re.texture.txt'

I tried deleting it & installing the correctly working one from 2010 but still no good.

How can I restore this great loco to normal operation? Thanks

Gam

Gam, The latest version of the superscript (Kuid2:122285:508:15) is for 09 and up, try getting the older version off the DLS that is compatable with TC3.

Thanks Andi however, it appears that the only version on the DLS is Kuid2:122285:508:15.
Annoying really as I tend to use TC3 more than anything else.

If you put 122285:508 and click the kuid tab in the text search section it will give you more than just one.

I got updates numbered 2,4,5,8,9,11,13,14 and 15. With 14 and 15 being compatible for 2009 and above and the others being for 2004 onwards so why not try to download one of the earlier updates via the FTP download button. I have #13 update built-in on my TS2010 and that still has a trainz-build number of 2.4 whereas honeymonster has stated the #14 and 15 updates both have a trainz-build number of 2.9.

Warbo, Following your instructions I'm only able to find versions 14 & 15 on the DLS. I do have version 13 installed but it shows up as having a faulty dependency. The dependency concerned is 15! Enabling/disabling it makes no difference.
Even more confused now.

Thanks

Open up the Version :13 file in Cmp and then copy and paste it to another part of your computer and then amend the kuid 2 number in the config from :13 to :16 .
Navigate to this amended file in Cmp and then install and commit. This should then override 14 and 15 . :D

You could always make the version number higher so as to counteract any later builds (make it future proof) but you need to remember not to upload any content associated with your higher kuid2 number as the DLS will throw it up as a missing dependency !

Thanks Dave, followed your instructions but the EWS 66 is still showing up without running numbers.
I get an error message on my screen saying "unable to load <kuid2:1222285:508>"

Dare I ask if I could get a copy of <kuid2:1222285:508:13> elsewhere?

Thanks
