Thanks aha!

The scenery away from the tracks is actually not that detailed at the moment, save for stations and towns. All there is at the moment around Bolside is a bus station, some hills and 5 speedtrees haha

Having said that, I'm currently working on Wendsey, the main city along the route:

The front of the main station building:

and I've also extended the Harringden branch a station. Seen here are the early shots of Roybirch:

I'll get it done eventually haha!

Cheers,
James :)

hi, thanks! They're called "Ticket Barrier - 2 of" and they're by Wessex_electric_nutter. I can't remember if they're on the DLS or his site though sorry. There's an object with 2 barriers or a spline version

Christ, I forgot about them. I must of put them somewhere and wel, gone missing in the mean time, files have a tendancy to do that. Anyway, they are up there now here: http://www.wessexelectricnut.co.uk/wip/ ... rriers.cdp

That so reminds me of this place:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Finchdean ... 6,-0.95154

Of course, when I went there, there were VEPs, CEPs, BEPs, CIGs, 158s, Voyagers and 442s going by. Lots of variety. Now its either a guessing game of the 444s, 450s and the occasional shed.

No, it goes on a bit further, I just haven't finished making it haha!

A few more progress shots from Roybirch. I've added a town to the pub  and put up the station signs and bridges etc. Still a way to go though:

Looking Great, it's given me ideas for my new route which pictures of will be up soon. Also I can't seem to find that ticket barrier spline you mentioned but the static barriers make the place alot more realistic!

Haha glad to know I'm inspiring someone!

With the Wendsey Airport Rail Link proposal accepted, work has begun constructing a new station in Wendsey to act as the airport line terminus.
The original Wendsey station will be renamed 'Wendsey Central', and a new station will open nearby, called Wendsey Holden Street:

Thank you! It's coming along nicely, if a little slowly haha

I'm thinking about redesigning the original Wendsey station, as it seems to be making the AI do weird things lately. Those of you that downloaded my preview, did you have any problems with the AI? I seem to get trains randomly reversing down the up fast platforms and through services only do about 5mph through the avoid lines :?

Also design wise, do you think the basic design needs changing? I'm planning to completely rebuild it from the ground up, but I would like other's opinions.

I leave you with the new trackwork at Bolside, and a shot of the Holden Street link bridge:

James :)

Hi all!
As you've probably seen at some point, my rebuild of Wendsey Central is coming along nicely, I've been reskinning a new departure board for the concourse!

The basic platform structure is now ready as is some of the OHLE (although the headspan sections have the wrong gantry at the moment )

What do you think of it so far?
