The thing is Blackwatch, Dave and I don't do it for the money. Yes NV3 get all the cash, but that's how Trainz works. If all of us content creators moved over to the 'Otherside' then no new content would ever appear. So we either keep Trainz as a community or all start wanting a cut and it will just die. I for one don't like paying £25 for a route, so that's why I give my time and effort for nothing.........or just maybe a pat on the back

And a BIG pat on the back you well deserve, I don't download many routes, not a 'Western' fan even, more LNER or LMS really, but yours was just to good to miss, thank you.

I think this is all down to something not really your fault (see post above to Nexusdj), it looks like there was something going on that i don't understand.

However I stand by my judgement of assets by 'Lotharhake', please do think of the impact for us lesser equipped (computer wise I may add). before using his often megabyte bloated items.

A big sorry, Kev.

Shedding some light on the problem.
Largerhaus3 happens to be a dependency of ECML and came with the current crop of updates, according to my CM on the 23rd and Duchy was not then installed on that install I only downloaded it yesterday.

I'm usually careful over lotherhake updates as they have a habit of morphing into something else!
Cheers

I had a few hours to kill last night, so I had a nice drive around this route.

Full marks to both of you. It's absolutely superb and the attention to detail is fantastic.

Although it's a fictional route, the detail and likeness immediately made me recognise that one of the stations is based on Plymouth - and one of the other stretches is based on Dawlish.

A lot of attention to detail without hammering my PC.

Superb work both of you. It's a shame that the thread had to be spoilt by a bit of negativity.

Since my last post, I've been into my CM trying to make some sense of why this 'Lagerhouse3' happened, I'm still non the wiser, but I do have TS12 so have the ECML, maybe this has got something to do with it, I don't know. :?:

Malc, I always try to eliminate 'Lothers' stuff as much as possible, either by replacement with similar, or straight deletion & config amendment.

Can someone help me with a missing asset? The roads around the china clay quarries seem to be showing as a missing asset (the double dashed lines.) Can someone point out which KUID I am missing please?

For what it's worth this is probably one of the best looking routes we've ever had the privilege to see in Trainz, so thank you to Nexusdj and fudginator for their hard work and effort!

It's one of the nine listed above - so it'll be cured in the update that Fudginator uploaded to the DLS this morning.

Check your updates feature tomorrow afternoonish - and then it should be available to download and then you'll be up and running.

With the route problems hopefully sorted now , we've turned our attention to the next era that the route will be based in ....

Correct :D
Into the last years of BR with the colours of :
INTERCITY , Regional Railways , RES , Transrail , Mainline , RFD and NSE (159s) .

Expect trackwork and signalling alterations , plenty of sectorisation colour scheme's on the stations etc.
This will be the lean , mean and financially successful BR ;)

Ooooh my favourite era! :D

I had a suspicion there was going to be a later version - the "80's" tag at the end was a giveaway ;) I was expecting it to be a present day version though. The 90's version is a nice surprise :D

@Klambert , we've removed and replaced that content and an updated version of the route plus 4 items of content (3 additional) are awaiting N3V to add them to the DLS :D

@ Briggsy , Potentially we've identified 4 era's in total that could be produced (80s , 92-96 , 98-02 , Present day) , most just requiring cosmetic alterations such as signs , newer signals , more housing etc.
We may or may not get that far , that's in the hands of fate .
The fourth one certainly looks like it could be the easiest to make due to the large amount of 'off the shell' content that's already on the DLS .

Larvely Jubbily, I've been thinking of making some scenarios for the route as well.
Just curious though, which is the London facing end of the line?
