We've both had the same problem with the route in TANE .
It's caused by the dig holes we used on the route to create the hole's in the scenery ,
These sit at the height of the ground in the middle of the ground square where they are placed , In TANE this forces an item sat on them to initially sit at the same height !
As previously stated the affected scenery item can be adjusted to the correct height and a route save should prevent the problem happening again .
Another work around is to use a different dig hole which allows its height to be adjusted in surveyor (C+ dig holes) , You then raise or lower it to match the height you require for scenery items to be placed on it .
I'm sure this problem along with any other updates with Duchy and Midshire will be tackled eventually by Fudginator and myself , but that will require sufficient spare time which both of us are lacking at the moment .
