Any good Blender or Gmax users in the Leicester Area

Post by Dreamspeed »

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone out there is really experienced with blender or Gmax or other 3D software that lives in the Leicester Area?

Maybe you do it for fun, or you're a student or similar, but I could really do with some help with my project.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm no expert, and I don't live in the area, but if anyone was able to help you, you could use the TeamViewer application, that way you wouldn't need to live nearby. Teamviewer and Skype(for example) could create a similar environment, with voice and computer assistance.

Paul Hobbs' tutorials for Blender are a good place to start and cover the basics as well as some more advanced technique. If you take the time to sit and go through and understand each part you can learn a lot from them, sadly there is no shortcut to learning these programs.
