just gets better
Re: Windhoff MPV WIP
Looking very good Steve.
I have a few close up phototextures of DR98911 which you are welcome to use for this project if you like, pm me if you want them.
For the spraying effect have a look at the snow ploughing effects on my kuid 283805 ZZA/ZZV snowploughs, you may be able to use something similar, changing the colour, intensity and direction of the effect to make it look more like spraying water. The snowplough scripts include switches to turn the effects on and off.
Due to pressures of real life and a massive Trainz backlog of my own I'm unable to help more than offering advice here.

Re: Windhoff MPV WIP
I know you said you were struggling with the scale of things, this may help with the scale and position of things on the front end?

This looks really good . Will we see a RailTrack (a.k.a FailTrack) livery.

Looks great alright. Only thing I reckon is that the buffers are too close together or too big. Bit rich coming from a route builder I know...

I agree, I think they're just too large, hence why I provided the photo of the front end to help as much as possible. Not a criticism of your work thus far Steve, just an observation.
