errors in wen class 470 &479

errors in wen class 470 &479
Hi Ive been trying to clear errors in Wessex Electric Nutter's class 470 dmso and 479dmso .Both show in my trs 2009 but in trs 2010/12 don't show up and it has now become a challenge to overcome . I now thro AssetX have found the error to be typo but are only shown up in Mesh text viewer as a missing letter "e" in envmap texture listing and showing nvmap as original. I have corrected the spelling and saved to the"im"file which is called "acfan" all in mesh text viewer. But when I commit the assets to sim then run the game the assets fails to show and in CMP shows the same fault "unable to load body/acfan/env/texturefile". So I know where the problem is but not the skill to correct or is this un repairable and do I have to throw the towel in on this. Many thanks for your time in reading this .George

Pity you couldn't solve the problem as I have have been unable to get access either.

I'm not quite clear on the fault you are getting. In CMP click view errors and warnings and then highlight the error and right click > copy
Paste the error in here and say which kuid no it is, and I'll see if I can sort it out. I have them working in TS2010.

Can you give us a better idea of the error you are getting please? I actually got my installation of WEN 470 working last night and I thought that maybe I could help you. Let me know.

Aha that's because the door attachment points are broken in the mesh (as far as I can tell, may be wrong) and the fix would require WEN to fix the mesh

I think he was just too heavy on the brakes, causing the door to fly off it's runners.

It is fixable - I did it by re-using the working doors on the other side. Added a new attachment point in attachment maker, rotated 180 deg so that the doors are facing outwards. The bogey also needs the animation file renaming to anim.kin, so that the wheels rotate.

Here is the fixed 479 in NSE livery. Still WEN's kuid, but now version :1, so it will obsolete the old assets. I've removed the aliasing and updated it to trainz-build 2.9. Also included is a bogey with the animation working. There is a small problem with the door texture mapping, which may or may not have been there before. Although the doors open at stations, I can't get passengers to visibly load. I've updated the passenger queue but still no dice. I'm guessing it might be because the attachment point names are non-standard?

But the other Class 479s still look broken, just like the 479 in the screenshot i had posted.
