I got a bit of a shock realising that the last post of these amazing models was on 2015, what happened to these!

I, a fellow Irishman myself, would love these engines!
Woah, this text is really big!

Hey, this text is really small! :lol:

Although I'm still in infrequent contact with Domsarto, real life has got in the way of these locos being completed for the time being.

Just as a quick update, I received an email from domsarto who has very kindly said I can upload the 071s I currently have.

As I recall, I have the IR, plug and CIE logo versions but I have no idea if they meet the criteria for upload now. I will attempt to do so and post here again if it is successful.

I'd ask why the others hadn't been uploaded yet but I read the reason on the official Trainz Forum so I won't bother.

Having read your post, I've had a look on my drives again and I stumbled across a second copy of TS12 which I was unaware of/had forgotten about. There appear to be some more 071 files and, I think, the NIR 111 version. I'll have a look at these later and if I can manage to confirm they're working, I'll upload them.

The one version I am unable to locate is the grey liveried current version.

Cheers,
Innis

Quick update on this. I think the NIR 111 class has been approved for upload and I have also just sent the 'broken wheel' CIÉ and IR points versions to the DLS. None of the 071s/111 have cab views but I did previously have permission from DomSarto to upload them.

I imagine it may be possible to add an attachment point and use the cab from a 141 class loco but alas, this is beyond my ken.

Cheers,
Innis

Many thanks for uploading the 071's .

All 3 are showing 1 missing dependency (as did the 1st version you uploaded)
This is the bogie which is still listed in the loco's config with Dom's original kuid number .
The entries need altering in the loco config to use the kuid of your own upload of the 071 bogie kuid:298788:100406

The amended bogie entries should look like this :

Code: Select all

bogeys
{
  0
  {
    bogey                               <kuid:298788:100406>
    reversed                            1
  }

  1
  {
    bogey                               <kuid:298788:100406>
    reversed                            0
  }
}
The kuid table entry will need amending to remove the missing bogie kuid number or the game will continue to flag the content as having missing dependencies .

I've also added the class 141 interior and it works perfectly as the attachment points on the 071 are the same height as the ones on the 141 .

That requires an additional entry in the loco config :

Code: Select all

interior                                <kuid:342053:26047>
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

Ah bugger, I forgot the bogey!!!

I'll try and make the changes and upload updated versions.

I didn't realise the attachments points were already there. Thanks for the info.
