Blue Brick Pillars

Post by cyberdonblue »

Does anybody know of any Blue Brick Pillars that can be imported into T:ANE? Something similar in style to that pictured below. Everything I try keeps getting thrown out as an incompatible file type. I'm really stumped without something like this because a lot of the bridges in Britain have blue brick supporting pillars but creators often forget to include them. Long walls also need supporting pillars every so often too. Most types are catered for in T:ANE but not Blue Brick for some reason. In fact there's a general lack of good quality blue brick stuff all round really.

Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers.

Dave

Search for "arches end".

Sorry Chris, it's my fault for not explaining properly. I've already got the blue brick wall, what I'm after is a blue brick pillar (similar in style to the red brick pillar in my picture.)

I can modify the end if you want, but being build 1.3 it won't go to the DLS if your thinking of uploading the route.

Chris.
That would be really nice of you, Chris. I've got no intentions of uploading the route - at least not in the foreseeable future - because it's only in it's infancy. I started it afresh a couple of months back so there's not much to it distance wise at the moment.

After a bit of a nudge from Itareus, I think I might have a try at putting a blue brick pillar together in Blender. Don't hold your breath though. I'm only very much a beginner and I don't know how far I'll get before it beats me (a negative view, I know, but I've not fared all that well up to yet trying to master the art of Blender.) It's a chance to learn on something real though rather than just making cubes and oblongs for the sake of it. Only time will tell if anything comes of it.

Thanks again, Chris. I really appreciate your offer.

Many thanks, Chris. I appreciate your effort. I'll try and post a couple of screenshots with these assets in situ later.

Dave

EDIT: Just what the doctor ordered, Chris. Brilliant. A million thanks.
