Best UK Roads

Post by OE1963 »

Just wondering, what do you recommend as the best road types for UK urban areas (preferably one type for residential areas and another for main roads/high streets, both with pavements). The ones I've found either lack pavements, are foreign or don't sit on the ground.

Cheers.

Clam1952 has a great selection of roads on the DLS
Paulzmay has an extensive selection of roads , road markings and pavements
DomSarto has a wide selection including Junctions , Set curves , Cross roads and islands (I think some are built-in ?)
Itareus : C+ RN road collection
Jayholland : Roads , Markings , Road and street name signs
DavidBrown : Huge selection of Motorway and road signs
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

I know its an old thread, but does anyone know any good looking roads for country lanes?

Preferably ones which are low on the ground and don't float at baseboard level.

Thanks

Mine do not float, some have verges, same height as itareus's roads so cars don't float or dig in to the road surface. Various assorted widths etc

We could do with some roads with massive craters and huge pot holes so that someone can create a realistic Coventry scene in Trainz ;-)
