Re: Exploring Glasgow's secret 'ghost station'
Must find out more about this although slightly puzzled about the mystery platform.
A long time back the double track under the Central Station had an island platform down below then was closed. However later the line was brought back and became part of the suburban electric network and called the Argyll line as it ran under that street (with a further two underground stations). Thinking back, I can recall the original Low Level and the steam era and there was only that island platform which I used. At the re-opening as I describe it was the same tunnel and double track and the island platform obviously more modern. Got me kind of puzzled!
