What's going on the last post indicator said that Marky was the last one to post in here but I don't see it ?

This is the second time that the last post indicator has shown a post by a user that isn't in the thread ?

I was just about to ask that. According to what I've seen, itareus made a post a few days ago and tonight marky7890 made one, however each time I checked, WEN's post was the last one visible. What's going on??

EDIT: Mark has replied.

Has the forum got a bug? :|

Yep that was the post the other day , I know the mods have got some secret channels (all good forums have) but this is starting to make me paranoid

Its because Itareus, who was the last to post deleted his post after posting. This is not a bug, just how phpBB works.

Marky,

Allowing for the valid concerns, it sounds good to me too.

Recognising your generosity, I do suggest a PayPal donation "box" though.

You may as well feel comfortable about paying any bills. Some may not donate anything, some may donate a little and some may be generous. Who can say? You can always appeal for more when times get hard (servers do have a way of getting busier than expected), but if donation is not required, then who could possibly complain?

I'm thinking of only making it available to forum members, so you have to be logged in to download and upload files, as well as hot linking being disabled.
I don't want it to be an alternative to the DLS, just a handy place to store odd files which are not on the DLS, and what we currently do on the forums, just they will be in one place.

Only CDPs will be allowed to be uploaded, and there will be a size limit, and maybe have a daily limit of how many files can be downloaded.

At the moment I'm having problems finding a suitable script, so I may have to create my own one, doing this I could also link the members with the forum database.

I'm not "well off" by any means, (social still make up my pension to make it a "living amount") ....
.... but I get a lot of use & pleasure from Trainz & would not be averse to donating a small regular
amount towards keeping this website open.
I find the N3v forum too american for me, I find this forum, being UK orientated, more to my liking, as
it caters more for my interest in the railway world.

Thank you Mark for giving me this alternative.
