Looking good, great detail, how did you go about making the model?

I made them in roblox, they're fairly old at this pointSnakeLight64 wrote:Looking good, great detail, how did you go about making the model?
Edit: looks like this project in on hold for now, tried exporting a tweaked version and blender went into not responding mode

Update. I'm putting these on hold as somewhere down the line, the texture map now fails to load, flagging up the well loved error Error: The texture '68main.bmp' failed to load.

Are you sure the texture file is valid? Make sure every file mentioned in the appropriate *.texture.txt file is present, the dimensions of all images are powers of two (ie 2,4,8,16,32 etc), and the bmp file is saved as a 24-bit bitmap image (if there's a compression option, disable it too)

Easy mistake to make. You can have alpha channels if you use a .tga image instead of .bmp (theoretically it's possible with a .bmp too, but I've never got it to work) if you save as a 32-bit tga, and have an alpha reference in the *.texture.txt file that points to the same tga

Re: Vossloh España/Stadler Class 68 UKLight
i do want its texture map to be a .TGA, but the tutorial i found for Blender to Trainz has it saving the texture map as a .BMPMightyena wrote:Easy mistake to make. Update! I've finally figured out how to make the trains opaque but sadly i cant apply the proper colours to them since blender now crashes when trying to export
