Let there be light - all of them in fact! Problem with DMU's

Post by Dannypenguin »

I have an issue with WEN's class 477, Marky's class 150/2 and rumour3's Class 105. When in surveyor or driver, all the lights on these units are on, headlights, tail lights and on the 477 and 150, orange door lock lights, even when moving. On the 105, the driver appears in either end too. Is there a fix?

Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the 477s, but don't the other two trains use andi06's superscript; perhaps it's an issue relating to that?

I found a post on the main forums about the 477 using it, and the guy said remove the class and script tags, which I have done, but to no avail. I might try it on the 150 and 105, see if it fixes it.

The 150s do use andi06's superscript for the lights, maybe it is an issue with a certain version of it?

I don't know, but the problem has now extended itself to the Class 66 too... :?

Sorry to bump this, but I have now found the issue.

There is an error message that comes up on certain rolling stock (this was taken from skipper1945's MLV):

ELStub : Thread Exception: ER_NullReference, line 219, file superstub.gse (2)
ELStub : Unable to load Code Library <kuid:122285:508>

Now I'm guessing the bottom on is to do with the Andi06's code Library, no idea what the top one is?

Hi, i feel you have the same problem i had: http://forum.british-trainz.co.uk/viewt ... =34&t=2110 . I was able to resolve the issue by upgrading to Trainz SP4.

Quite often upgrading to SP4 will solve this problem due to code changes that Superscript requires.

Aaargh! Only just seen this, sorry for the bump...

Would upgrading the service packs have any effect on stresses to my computer though? It already lags on the retail edition on certain routes :?

Not really, as I mentioned before, SP4 on my install has ended up producing better results after a EDR after patching.
