Hi all,
I have just installed TS2009 on my laptop so that I can use trainz still when the main computer is in use, and have successfully managed to patch up to SP3 on a clean install. However, earlier when patching to SP4, I came across an unexpected error which I can't work out what the problem arises from.
Any ideas - I'm mystified as this is a clean installation?

Re: TS2009 SP4 Error
It's been a while since I've been around an installation of 2009 but I'm hazarding a guess that the service pack is corrupted ?
Try downloading SP4 again and see if that works ?
Like I say it has been a while so I could be barking up the wrong tree !

Re: TS2009 SP4 Error
TS2009 SP4 is a large service pack (~450MB) so it's important to check it's size.
Also, as per any other patch installation, make sure you turn off your antivirus software during patching.
Another thing - I'm afraid you will have to reinstall your version as well, as TS2009's patcher software did not have a rollback facility (this was added in TS12).
