Hello everyone.
Although I live in Los Angeles my interest in trains is almost entirely about UK steam and early diesel, time period 1950's and 60's. I am old enough to have travelled on plenty of steam-hauled trains. I started with UTC and am now using TS2010, absolutely the best version ever. I do quite a lot of content creation, and have just started using 3DSMax9.
I have made a route of the Alexandra Palace branch of the ECML and also the Widened Lines. I'm also converting the London section of the ECML to steam operation (early 50's)
Cheers,
Mick Berg.
PS The text formatting on this forum is really weird. In order to place the cursor at a given point I actually have to place it one character to the right. And as you can see everything is center-justified!!!???

Hi and welcome,
That's odd, It's not showing as centre justified here, looks normal as in left justified, cursor working as normal.

Welcome to the forums Mick.
Yes, it works in Opera, but not in Internet Explorer, one of the reasons I hate IE. However the ProSilver theme seems to work ok.

Re: Hello from Mick Berg
Well it seems to look ok once it's posted.
EDIT: Now it's gone weird again!!! I'm using IExplorer 8 (I think) with Windows 7 Home Premium.
Everything on the page is center justified.
Cheers,
Mick.

Re: Hello from Mick Berg
I noticed this centred justification when I first began using this forum.
However, for some reason when I had a look this evening, justification was normal and I tried to say so. But I was asked to log in (although I had opted when joining to be logged in automatically) and after doing so, the centred justification returned.
Odd ...

Hi All,
Try User Control Panel, Board Peferences and change "my board Style" to prosilver.
Tidied it up for me in Internet Explorer.
Cheers

Re: Hello from Mick Berg
Thanks, Paul - this has worked for me - I hadn't realised it was possible to change styles.
