Hi Guys - I have just joined your Forum. I have been involved in Trainz since TRS2004 and created my first Route in that version of Trainz. I was not too impressed with TRS2006 but when TC3 came out I started moving my Routes into it and things were looking so much nicer as a result of improved scenery items, rolling stock and (of course!) my increased experience. I bought TS2009/10 but had a number of issues so I stayed with TC3 until TS12 came out and, once again, I started a major Route upgrade program to take advantage that latest version.

Now there is TANE! TANE has been a bit of a frustration, but the benefits (both current and potential) are so worth it from my perspective that I am (once again) overhauling my Routes and taking advantage of this latest train sim.

My "real trains" background is growing up in Peterborough (Eastern Region), with lots of bike rides to Wellingborough and /or Kettering (Midland Region), a year in Cardiff (Western Region), and many trips to London for various reasons. My weakness as a Route builder is clearly going to be Southern Region but that doesn't stop me!

For anybody interested in my Routes:

In TC3 - Gwladys Ddu (GWR); Milbourne James (SR); Leeds to Sheffield (Early BR)
In TS12 - Gwladys Ddu (GWR) - later became Tristyn & District (GWR)
In TANE - Rosworth Vale (LNER)

Another Route (and one of my favorites) Rivendell, was created in TRS2004 and is currently in progress for TANE, as is Gwladys Ddu. That's it for my intro. Nothing else to tell! Regards to all. Colin.

Thank you. I am rather hoping for less volatile dialogues here than on the Auran/N3V Forum!

Thx Marky. I note that you're in Cornwall. Lovely part of England! My Rivendell route (GWR portion) had a pair of lines curving around a sea wall ...... no prize for guessing where that idea came from:)
