Hi all new member Mick ( matruck ) reporting in for introduction, I've been an active Trainz user now for numerous years now and whilst I'm familiar with sum names over here sum may not know of my hidden interest in British Railways. Awhile ago i bought TS2016 ( RW ) and absolutely love the early to late British Diesel content available for that game ( I know their a quite a few who don't like that you have to pay for stuff for the game i'm not here to argue that at all lol ).
With the release of the Class 37 from SRS Trainz I've fallen in love with British Content all over again and in particular the Class 37 as it would have to be one of my favorite loco's and i would like to model a PTA Iron Ore Tippler to go with it, Now I'm an of a average level of creator who use's 3ds Max 2012 and i have a small number of items on the DLS along with quite a few more similar items on my own site but I'd really like to try my hand at sum-thing British.
I've tracked down a rather basic diagram for the ore tippler but am still looking for sum proper measurements and i have a number of nice detailed pics to work off so with hopefully a bit of help from those here who may know a lot more then i on the subject of British Railway equipment and procedures i'll be able to offer sum-thing half decent looking to this fine community.
Anyways i think that is enough rambling from me for one night.
Cheers Mick.
