I'm Glyn in Banbury. I'm serverly disabled so I can sit at the desk for and hour or more most days. I've had most versions of Trainz from the first demo. I played MSTS before that.
My Comp only just runs 12 as long as there aren't too many trees along side the track. when ever I go past plantations of birch trees, it slows down and gets a bit jerky. I'm still running a Pentium.
I absolutely love the Kings Cross Newcastle routes and can see myself spending a lot of time on it. One thing that has continually disappointed me is the lack of a head out view from the cab. I grew up alongside the mainline north of Luton and was my uncles tipper truck drivers mate from age 4. we spent a lot of time in the sidings loading and unloding coke, pig iron, sand from "Arnolds" (many memories of the sand pits and their little trains) scrap swarf from SKF. So I do like little engines and shunting. As I live on the old GWR I now have a love of all the old smaller engines.
All the best to everyone,
Glyn
I'm New but quite old too.

Hi Glynn,
Welcome to Trainz. Nice to have another "older person" on board. My username gives my age away.
There is no age or disability barrier to using Trainz, cannot think of a better thing to do when restricted through disability.
My Wife's disabled and spends many a happy hour using her laptop on computer games (virtual villagers series) is her favourite.
Happy Trainzing.
Chris A.

Well Glynn and Clam.
At this rate of "oldies" in the ranks we'll have to get Marky to open a special over 50's section!!!
