Gerry Anderson creator of Thunderbirds , Joe 90 , Space 1999 and many more TV shows from the 1960s and 70s has passed away today at the age of 83 .
As a fitting tribute perhaps DRS might consider naming one of their newly acquired 57/3's after him considering their Thunderbird connections .
RIP Gerry Anderson

Re: RIP Gerry Anderson
A great loss as i grew up with repeats of the likes of Stingray, Thunderbirds, Joe 90, Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons and UFO. Also Space 1999.
Work to live not live to work.

Re: RIP Gerry Anderson
Even though the shows are much older than me, I used to love watching Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlet. I remember a few years ago BBC used to show an episode of Thunderbirds each day in the summer holidays at around 10am.
