A complete week of 28+ everyday :(

Weather report says (Midlands) a few degrees cooler Saturday and Sunday ,
Storms Monday and Tuesday (Superb 8-) ) but then the temperature will increase again across next week with some places hitting a possible 35+ !!!!

I've had to knock most of my Trainz use on the head as it's too hot day and night time .
Too hot to drink booze as you dehydrate too quick ,
The cold tap water isn't very cold either so no good for cold drinks :(

We've had big house spiders out at night around the house , the ones that you only usually see in late September , early October ,
So it must be affecting these as well !?
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!

35+ next week it's already been 35+ where i work, absolutely unbearable.

Get the ice cubes out Dave that'll cool your drink down. Be glad that we've had a prolonged amount of sun just remember what it was like this time last year, day after day of rain.

Off to Skeg tomorrow on a railtour although i'll only be there for just under 2 hours before it returns. I'll be going straight into the pub near the station not long after i get there.

Got to 28 degrees yesterday where I am..... Oh and its Winter!!!! :P

I love it when temps are in the 30's, as this happens nearly everyday in Summer. When they start getting into the 40's, then it starts getting crazy... Had a fair few days which the temp got into the 40's, which includes 2 weeks completely full of 40+ last summer.

At least in Australia the country's transport network doesn't go into meltdown (no pun intended  ) when the temperature rises above the norm

Hope the day was a relief for you Warbo, I'm in Lincoln & it's been a nice cool day here, according to
the BBC forecast, it should have been the same in Skeggie, so would save you a few 'tokens' in the pub. ;)

Had myself 3 pints in the Lumley, Yates and The Red Lion then made my way back to the station to get my train. Slightly disappointed with the loco traction though as 20308 had failed the other day so the railtour didn't produce a pair of choppers i was looking forward to. Other than that i had a good day even though it was a long one, up for 22 hours by the time i got home. The weather was a bit cooler which was a blessing after the last 2 weeks.

Just come back after a week from a CCF camp at RAF Northolt - I enjoyed the camp but certainly not the weather; marching in full sun in 33C heat is not fun.
