Check the config to make sure that they're not set up as an engine ,

Code: Select all

engine                                  0
Check the script file and make sure it says :

Code: Select all

class mk4ic_po isclass Vehicle
if it say Locomotive change it to "Vehicle" but make sure you use a capital "V"

***Note that the entry mk4ic_po will be different for each coach***

Okay no probs , Plan B ....

Whats the kuid or kuids of the coaches that are flagging up the errors ?
What dependencies do they use ?

At some stage I have fixed peters Mk4's but I can't remember what I did (the script as a loco is always my first port of call these days) .

Thinking about it I believe (though I could be wrong) that Peters Mk4's have to be marshalled in the correct order so that the coach letter script works correctly .
I think there's a marshalling list on his website ?

Sorry to bump an old thread but saves starting a new one for a similar topic.

I’ve created a route that is based on the GCR through Nottingham assuming it didn’t close and basing it on the Chiltern Railways model of operations. I want to use rakes of Mk4’s cascaded off the ECML for expresses between Sheffield Victoria and London Marylebone as it solves the disability access law, also as I liked the old GNER Libery and as the GCR was part of the LNER not to far fetched to have GNER as the routes operator!. (Nobody has produced plug door mk3’s yet). This is were I hit a problem.

As mentioned here unless you marshal the Mk4’s as a 2+9 set in the correct order it bugs because of the letter script. Is there any way of deleting or disabling this part of the script allowing a 2+6 formation of Class 67, TOE, TO, TO, TOD, SV, PO and DVT.

I thought I’d found a way of tricking the script by marshalling the rake correctly then deleting the unwanted coaches. Worked fine until a point in the AI programme were the consist changes direction and the bug is back.....

Help appreciated thanks.
