Hi, I've got a bit of an issue here:
Yesterday, my PC blue screened while CMP was running (not doing anything, just sitting in the background). When it came back online I was expecting to need to do a database repair, but what I was not expecting was to be presented with a screen asking me for my serial and planet auran information... Once provided it did a database repair but now all my custom filters in CMP are missing. Since I have a lot of filters is there any way to get them back at all, or will I have to spend an afternoon recreating them?
Thanks for any help
PS. On a side note, is there an option to get the launcher to stop nagging me to patch to SP1? I have no intention of doing so until it stops being a horrible buggy mess that won't let me use keyboard shortcuts...

Re: CMP saved filters
depending on the crash you can loose your settings so no you can't retrieve your settings other than maybe restore a full copy of your userdata folder.
Nagging for SP1? In my 49922 copy of TS12, I don't get that all I have is an entry on the bottom of the game menu saying it's out of date with a link, have you got autopatching enabled in Developer options? Shouldn't do anything unless you are a beta tester however it might!
Other than that, sure I saw this somewhere, that starting the download and then cancelling it after a few bytes should stop it appearing again.
Keyboard shortcuts problem? Are you using any specialised mouse or keyboard software? getting rid of it and using the default drivers usually solves that sort of issue.

Re: CMP saved filters
Oh well, never mind. I guess I'll have to recreate them of an evening...
RE the patch, I fear the crash did more than superficial damage, since the message only started appearing after the crash. When I started it off, intending to cancel it as you said it appeared to be attempting to patch to 49922. Now I already have 49922, and after a couple of seconds, the patcher and launcher both just hung. I'm guessing Trainz has 'forgotten' its patch level and thinks it's unpatched or something (though it still says build 49922 on the launcher screen). I suspect a re-install is on the cards again grumble grumble...
As for the keyboard shortcuts, I mean in surveyor for example, you can press 'M' to go directly to the move tool, 'R' for rotate etc. I can't. Nothing happens, no matter how hard I mash the keys... And no, I don't have any custom keyboard/mouse software, just using the windows default drivers. Granted it's not a big problem, but it, combined with the other little niggles and annoyances just make me want to steer well clear of SP1...
