content creator plus

Post by macneil »

Hey everyone I noticed the driving cars of the 1956 and 1962 stock are not working in build 58414 I went to try to get them to work by opening the asset in content creator plus like with most items.

But when doing so content creator plus doesn't open with this or any other items would love to get these tube stock working anyone got any ideas of to what could be stopping it from opening ?

Are you getting any errors? It may be that .NET Framework is not installed (version 1.1 for versions earlier than TS2009, 2.0 for later versions).

No errors Shane and i thought it might be the framework so i updated it but still no luck but in trying to get ccp to work i found it wasn't the build number of the unit stopping it from working its a dependency but not sure if its fixable without ccp.

What error has the dependency got? It may be fixable without using CCP, especially as CCP has a habit of upping the trainz-build number as well.

All of the driving motors have dependency- Texture group for LU 1956/1959/1962 Stock <kuid2:338848:13:1> with the error

Error: The tag '12' in 'textures' must have an image file extension.

That can be fixed using Notepad (using Edit in Explorer) if needed, by opening the config.txt file for the textures asset and checking that number 12 under the textures container has .texture at the end of it.

It's worth checking if the texture actually exists in the first place in the asset folder. If it doesn't, take out the whole line. If it does, check the spelling of it in the config file.

archway viac+ and in the config the file is.

Hi all,

I've already spoken with bird_d00 regarding the issue I have in 2012 with the 1959-62 Stock, it's due to the scripting he created for the stock that works only with 04 and 06.
The problem i get is when stopping at a passenger station and load the passengers the train will lose control capability and won't return! This is due to a licence error i get in 2012.
He told me to delete a couple of lines in the script and try that but this didn't work and he said that he cannot offer support on anything higher than TC1.

Here is what he told me:
You will get the licence error if you run the 1956/59/62 (and future releases) in TC1 and upwards and it's quite deliberate. The scripts are for TRS2004 and TRS2006 ONLY. Auran/N3V decided to change the rules so scripts are not portable between versions (except simple ones, and the 1956 stock script is far from simple). If you wish to run these items in unsupported versions, you can delete the lines in the script causing the exception easily enough (Lines 55-56), but I'm afraid from there on in, you're on your own.
Regards,

Reece

Thanks It doesn't bother me if all the fancy stuff doesn't work just as long as the train itself works how do I edit the script I tried to edit the script through content manager but this error comes up

Error: The script file for 'Texture group for LU 1956/1959/1962 Stock' could not be found. Unable to edit.

The script file will be in the driving and trailer cars , not the texture group .
High visibility pixels must be worn when on or about the line !!
