If I understand this correctly, I don't agree with it as topics will get extremely long and have a mix of all sorts of content in them.
Users are more interested in which new class of unit or loco is being released and so will be drawn to the heading, not x person releases.
Thoughts Marky?

I'm with you on this one, think maybe changes like this should be put to the forum members . It's not as if the forum isn't working well as it is.

A topic will get very, very long especially the likes of tony's.
What 73129 is getting at is you would have to name the topic eg tmz06003's Rolling Stock Releases, bird_d00 Rolling Stock releases, etc, etc.
But that would just generalise each topic and lead to confusion in my opinion.
Work to live not live to work.

Re: Note re note re released stock
Yep keep them all separate .
You'll up with posts asking about one item of content followed by someone else asking about another .
It will end up being a mess and a nightmare to navigate through .
The forum needed tidying up slightly but it works perfectly fine as it is .

Sorry for my slow reply, only just got home.
I think we should keep it the way it is to be honest, as it works well. It would get confusing if everything by one user was posted in one topic.

Re: Note re note re released stock
I agree, as long as it's clear what stock you are releasing, then it should stay as it is and we be allowed to make separate threads. I wouldn't like having to see questions asked on a 20+ page thread for content from page 3, it would get very tedious.

Re: Note re note re released stock
im in agreement with all of the above.
Re: Note re note re released stock
Is it maybe a good idea to delete the original thread by 73129 about this?

Re: Note re note re released stock
I'll have to edit the post, however, off topic chat will have to be kept to a minimum, use the Rolling stock content for any questions.
EDIT:
Sorted.
