I have decided to add a donations button to the main British Trainz site (
http://british-trainz.co.uk/) under the menu on the left of the page.
So you can donate if you would to, all donations will go towards the running costs of the site and forums such as hosting and the domain.
All donations are much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mark

I don't really see a need to especially upgrade the Forum as it works fine.

I, too, have happily made a contribution. Just a little suggestion though, Mark (not a criticism). Could you not include a little button to click on once donations have been made so that people could be returned to the "Home" page? They're rather stranded at the moment once the donation has been confirmed.

Mark - I've got one question before I donate. Does your system accept the automatic monthly donation option?

Any reason for commentating on a post from September 2013 ?

Thanks for the donation
. I have changed it now so that it will redirect to a Thank you page on the main site once the donation is completed.

Yes, there is a tickbox beside the amount entered to make it recurring every month.

I personally never looked at the date, but if it's done Mark a favour and helps to keep the finances healthy and the site running then that's fine by me
Anyone who runs a site (and I have a small charitable one) knows the costs involved can be a pain.

Thankyou for the response Mark. I'm going to set up a recurring donation.
Shane

Just made a donation, as before faultless.

I just had a quick look at this page and, I'm ashamed to say, I embarrassingly realised that it is two and a half years since I donated anything towards the site's upkeep
. A small donation has now been made Mark and I will endeavour to do likewise more often. Maybe you could put a little reminder out now and again. Some of us "older" folk sometimes have a job to remember what day it is, never mind anything else
Cheers
Dave

I've actually still got mine set as a recurring donation so I'm still doing my bit to help...

Thank you very much both of you
The donations are very much appreciated, they help pay for the hosting mainly, as well the annually domain renewal.
