Open the bogie for edit and in the config add this :

Code: Select all

track-sound
{
  track-sound-element0
  {
    track-sound                         <kuid:XXXX:XXXXX>
    priority                            10
    bogey                               <kuid:YYYY:YYYYY>
  }
}
X= the kuid of the bogie sound that you want to use
Y = The kuid of the bogie that your are adding the sound to . It is important that you ensure that this matches the kuid of the bogie who's config you are editing or it throws up all sorts of errors .

Nice video there Electra, where you get the wagon sounds for the FFA/FGAs in the last scene with 90044?

Put your glasses on, old bean - it was 90049, as the caption states ('044 is still in triple grey) ;)

Mr Nexus pointed me in the direction of the bogie sound used - not the correct one, I suspect, but I thought it sounded OK and used it for the Ridemaster bogie sat under the Freightliner flats...

The TEAs also use the same sound, but you can't tell from the video that they do for some reason...

Hi all, here's one from me:

A class 478 running into Tristanwood, on the Drodditch Line. Shows off (a bit) the 478 buzzing noise inspired by the AC electrostars.

Thanks, there should be an older version of the 478 on the DLS, I don't think I've gotten round to uploading the latest version yet (there's not much difference, just a slightly revised interior and LED boards)

The buzzing noise was added by putting the sound file (the one I used was the pantograph buzz recorded from a 357 when it was sat at Grays) in the ptso folder, then adding a soundscript entry to the config.txt pointing it to the sound, and attaching it to the pantograph attachment point. You don't have to attach it to anything, it will just originate from the middle of the coach.

Here's another one, this time of the Drodditch Line. There's another one being encoded (slowly. Curse you, intel Celeron! :x ) showing the slow line through Fimbar & Hartlington that should be up here eventually.

Hi all, just another video of my Drodditch Line. This time showing some bits from the electrified section:

Opinions on the video would be great, as I'd like to improve them where possible
