Pity Me

Post by dave55007 »

My first attempt at video on Trainz. Apologies for the lack of finesse!

37107 departs Pity Me stabling yard and collects a rake of empty HTV hoppers for loading in Sacriston Colliery.

I noticed the article in Traction magazine about your Yard layout.

Very interesting video, thank you for making it available. That is an impressive span for the footpath overbridge, a midspan support or two would be reassuring for pedestrians!

It looks OK to me. I've seen many footbridges of that length and more IRL.

Its not like its carrying much weight! Pedestrian bridges can be quite long without supports. I don't think Pity Me's bridge is any longer than the one at my local station here in Hessle. However, I will keep that in mind on future projects.

Another couple of videos from Pity Me.

First, a Class 37 passes Pity Me New Yard with a rake of empties for the colliery...

Second, a Skinhead Class 31 departs from Pity Me station with a Brake Van, probably for either TE or GD...
