It's perfectly normal mate. It'll ease off in a couple of days.

If it gets a bit too painful (some nurses get a bit too eager), have a paracetamol to ease it.

I had a steroid injection into the bone a few months ago. That was agony :o

Yeah, the aching is just normal mate. Two or three years ago when I had that injection (i had mine through my school, did you?) I remember the aching and then some drowsiness started, but it cleared up the day after so it'll be fine.

Oooh that sounds sore briggsy!

As Briggsy advised any anti inflammatory painkiller, paracetamol or ibuprofen will help.

Yikes my eyes are watering, injection into the bone.

Yeah they're horrible :(

They only last 6 months too, and I can feel this one is starting to wear off now, so it looks like I'll have to have another soon.

I dread that more than my ops. My ops didn't bother me in the slightest.

Well if any limbs fall off then go to a hospital haha

It's all normal as others have said, although i can't remember the last time i had an injection  although last time i had to have a injection was when i got stabbed in my hand. (Not by someone trying to mug me, me and a mate being stupid and then i got pushed and my hand went for the scalpel) Now that was a weird feeling! Although the numbness went away after the first minute, felt everything after that

I've had a couple of painful "injections", one from a piece of Armco & another from
a 6" steel blade in the hand of a nutter, both were painful, but nowhere near as
bad as when the hospital had to rip both my shoulders out of their sockets, manipulate
them & put them back in, I was told that steroid injections would help, but they were out
of the question, as my liver was already damaged & steroids would only compound
the problem.
It seems that the older you get, the more you pay in, the less you get back in return.

I haven't had an injection since 1988, a tetanus booster when a dog bit me.

Bugger steroids and needles into bones.

My meds are all oral, thank goodness. ;)
