Train Simulator 2013
Hey guys,
I do apologise if this has already been posted (please delete it if it has).
I've just recently purchased Train Simulator 2013 on steam for £6.99 in their summer sale (a bargain I thought).
Anyway, here is a link if anyone else is interested, I believe the deal ends later today ---> http://store.steampowered.com/app/24010/

Re: Train Simulator 2013
Thanks for that.
I've read mixed reviews but at that price I'm going to have a go at it.
Cheers

I've since bought the 'Green and Gold HST' DLC for it too which was £1.19 I believe, nice little addon for the game even though I can't seem to find the scenarios that come with it.
Here's a couple of screenshots I've taken today too

Re: Train Simulator 2013
Ha thanks Alex!
Well the Electrostars actually came with the steam bundle deal! Which I couldn't believe!
So this is the breakdown of what's included with the bundle. I've listed the steam price if you don't buy the bundle.
(The deal is still available with the link I've provided in my first post).
Train Simulator 2013 - £36.82
Sherman Hill Add-On - £12.49
Munich to Augsburg Add-On - £14.99
London to Brighton Add-On (This includes the Electrostars) - £12.49
So you get all of the above for £6.99

Re: Train Simulator 2013
It's funny you should say that liverpool13, I had this problem the other day with a different game.
The fix, I updated the BIOS on my motherboard and now everything works as it should!
Yeah go for it Alex
Just wanted to clarify I don't work for steam

Re: Train Simulator 2013
If an update is available I'd definitely go for it, 9 times out of 10 updating an outdated driver will fix problems on your PC.liverpool13 wrote:I have windows 7 and i had problems with f1 2012 could it be that the video driver is about 40 months old?
Here's a link to the Nvidia drivers page ---> http://www.nvidia.co.uk/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-uk
Or if you've got AMD / ATI ---> http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/Pages/index.aspx
Both of them have autodetect if you're unsure what drivers you've got installed
I wouldn't know to be honest danny, best idea would be to contact steam customer supportdanny109 wrote:Wish I'd got it instead. I got TDU2 and the infernal thing wont install . I am really getting pissed off with it. Can you get money back with steam.

Re: Train Simulator 2013
I've had Train Simulator 2013 since Xmas when it was also on offer. This current summer sale enticed me to purchase the class 87,class 50, class 31 and class 31 add-on.
Grantboy - To use the green & gold HST i believe you might need to purchase the Great Western Main Line route add-on at £5.99.

Thanks Warbo40, I managed to get the train to work in single player free roam.Warbo40 wrote:I've had Train Simulator 2013 since Xmas when it was also on offer. This current summer sale enticed me to purchase the class 87,class 50, class 31 and class 31 add-on.

I've since purchased the Great Western Main Line Add-On DLC, and you're right, I can now use the train and the scenarios that came with it are available. This could be a dangerous game to play with all the DLC available!
