I was about to give my 350 a test run but when I put it into Trainz it wouldnt work and kept coming up with the orange 'X' whenever I interacted with it. I think this may be because the pivot in gmax is not in the centre of the mesh, its more the one end of the train like so:

I have tried adjusting the pivot in the hierarchy menu, but whenever I move the train or export it the pivot goes back to its wrong position. Could the pivot centre be the problem or is there something else I may be getting wrong, anyone know? :D

The position of the pivot point for objects shouldn't affect Trainz in the slightest. What have you got selected there ? As you are in Create mode all I can see is something called Group01. Is this really a group ? If so you need to do something about that as the exporter cannot handle groups.

Are a.limfront and a.limback in the correct position? a.limfront should be in the negative of the y-axis at a height of 0.89 metres. a.limback should be the same, but in the positive of the y-axis.

Hope this helps

Actually the height (Z co-ordinate) of a.limfront and a.limback can be anything you like. I always use 0.0 and my stock all works fine.
