Best way to transfer content?

Post by pellet »

I keep TRS on my girlfriend's PC, but I keep a back up of the content on my laptop, via the game. As I haven't made a copy in a while, I've forgotten the best way to do it. Would it work if I copied the content files from the game on the PC, then clicked 'install content' on the CMP on the game on the laptop? Also, I'm assuming the content within the 'Originals' folder would be built in content that I wouldn't have modified?

Any advice appreciated; it's been a long time!

One important thing though - you must copy over both the Local and Original folders and import both. The reason is the Original folder does not contain built-in content, it contains content you have downloaded from the Download Station using Content Manager and haven't modified. The Local folder contains content you have created, modified, or imported from an external source in the form of either raw game content or .cdp/.cdp2/.cmpa files.
